First off, Ive always wanted a big window 60-66 truck but finding one that was within my budget in the condition I wanted and with the model and equipment seemed impossible. I found a nice 64 GMC last October but it had a small window, made a concession and bought it. The plan was to educate myself and buy a donor truck with a big rear window. After seeing the video with Levi from Hammer Fab, I ordered up one of these panels. I waited until the panel arrived, because of my skepticism, before I got to work on the preparatory work of cutting the old opening out. The part look good, well made so I got to cutting. I followed Levis video to a T and everything went well and was straight forward, no surprises. Grinding old rivets is a pain, they sure as heck didnt skimp on them when building the truck. I just came in from trial fitting the panel in the new opening and it is a perfect fit. Thumbs up to Classic parts for making this piece. Seldom is anything ever perfect in the restoration parts world, but this part is a direct hit.The person that wants a big window now doesnt have to hunt down a donor truck, really best modification I have made during this restoration so far.
