|This dash is ok for the price. Notice I said ok. It has plenty of flaws, but youll notice its about $200 cheaper than an original GM dash, which they also sell here. It fits ok, not great. Modification will definitely be needed, and youll need some of your old dash parts to go on this one. Including one of the metal tabs that screws onto this dash, that make it clasp onto the actual metal dash that resides underneath this cover.
Youll have to do a lot of pressing and grunting and straining to get this thing all lined up, and its best to have someone there to help you hold this thing in place while you put in the screws. It doesnt have any of the screws pre-drilled, but that may be for the best due to it not really lining up with the factory screw holes anyway. Youll need to have someone shove this thing rearward hard, while you put all the screws in, if you ever hope to have it fit anything like the original. And even then, it wont be perfect. My advice to anyone that has any problem with non perfection, just buy one of the GM nos original dash pads. I will likely eventually be doing the same.|
